Spent 35 minutes driving to pick up highly
recommended vege mix. Never again. Mix was full of small stones. Will never use this place again.
Update: Thank you for the response but.. My wife phoned before I posted this review. She was told in no uncertain terms you stand by your product. I won’t be contacting you. You can stand by your product and customer service.

WYEE LANDSCAPE SUPPLIES - DO BETTER FOR THE LOCALS THAT SUPPORT YOU
I have only given one star because I can’t give them NO stars and place a review. I was sold three scoops of firewood from Wyee Landscape Supplies which the Staff member before we purchased it, advised me that is was good quality firewood, which was really hot burning and all we needed to do is chuck a piece in the fireplace and it would burn hot all night. So given that advice we purchased 3 scoops at a whopping $75 for scoop. After getting home we stacked some of the gigantic pieces of wood, and noticed some was quite damp, however, we lit the fire and still even hours after being lit there was NO heat coming from the wood. So we persevered for another two nights before deciding to order some more from another supplier to burn with the wood purchased from Wyee Landscape Supplies, thinking it may need another wood to burn with the gigantic pieces in order to keep them alight instead of smoldering into coals with no heat. Upon delivery of the load we ordered, Janelle advised that the wood we received should never have been sold in such large pieces, let alone damp, and it would need to be split in order to be able to effectively burn, and throw any type of heat without shouldering into a big back pile of coals, and that it will never burn and give off heat due to the size of the pieces. She also advised we were the third person this week she had come across with the same problem, with the wood from Wyee Landscape Supplies. one being an 84 year old man which they sold and delivered the same size of wood too, whom had no way of even carrying the wood pieces let alone splitting them, so Janelle and her partner split his wood so he could use it. Now we are no firewood experts, we didn’t know that this would require splitting, it was sold to us as ready to burn firewood when we purchased it and when we asked. Janelle and her partner offered to split the wood costing us an additional $ on top of the already $225 we had paid for the wood, in order to enable us to be able to burn it effectively. After hearing of the other stories whilst the wood was being split, I decided that I would contact Wyee Landscape Supplies in order to give them feedback, as I wasn’t going to complain too them until hearing of the same issue this same week on 3 separate occasions. So with that being said I picked up the phone and rang, hmm, well, to say the customer service doesn’t not exist for this business is an under statement, I did not expect a refund of the wood, but an offer to refund the cost of the splitting would have been appropriate, however the Management couldn’t even careless. The manager did ask why I didn’t contact him and give them the opportunity to pick up the wood before I had it split costing me extra $, to which I said, Janelle and her partner were already here delivering me some good quality split fire wood, and I just wanted it split to be able to use it, and at that point I wasn’t going to complain, until I had heard the other stories during time they had split the wood for me. Quite frankly, after the conversation I had with the manager, I am glad I had it split, as I believe if I had of rang and complained beforehand and asked them to come pick it up and refund my money, I honestly doubt if they would have done anything anyway, the manager simply did not careless.

If you advertised that the firewood you sell needs to be split in order to burn effectively, firstly I wouldn’t be complaining, because I would have been informed, and I wouldn’t have been sold a product under false pretenses thinking I could just burn the wood picked up, and secondly I would never have purchased it in the first place if I had to split it.
