My husband and I really enjoyed our visit to this wonderful Art Centre.

Thank you to the team at Yarrabah Art Centre for the wonderful tour of the facilities, seeing the artists at work, exploring the shop and museum and learning about the art, culture and history of the area.

I left with some fabulous etching prints and look forward to having them framed - a wonderful reminder of the local art, culture, wildlife and hospitality.

I highly recommend a visit - lovely to see the local kids having a blast riding the 'wild' horses and the views of the ocean coming down the hill on the way back are stunning.

Just take care not to miss the turn-off to the art centre like we did, though we had an adventurous drive along back beach road!

Highly recommended 👌

Great art centre to visit if you are interested in indigenous art.
Many excellent artists including Philomena Yeatman have artworks to view and buy.
There is also a very interesting museum to view.

Was a great experience. We went as a group and visited the art centre and the museum next door. The back walk was closed due to repairs so next time. I will definitely be going on that walk.

Thank you for the warm and heartfelt welcome we received yesterday (6-10-2017).
Our Ngaanyatjarra (Great Victoria Desert region) staff told me they also really enjoyed the welcome in traditional language. Amazingly one word in Yarrabah language is also used in Ngaanyatjarra language but has a different meaning.

The artwork on display here perfectly captures the region and the people and culture. Thank you to all the staff who made our brief visit memorable, I really appreciated spending time in your beautiful community surrounded by rainforest by the sea. A truly special place.

Looking through the windows, the paintings and pottery looked great, but unfortunately we were not able to have a close look, as the gallery was closed and no note on the glass to say when it would be opened. I had rang up that morning to check when it opens and closes and was told that the gallery would be open all day. When we got there (about 11:30am), I was told by another person that the woman had already left and wouldn't be back for the rest of the day. A 90km wasted round trip.

Great art work and very helpful staff, the place is clean and professional but unfortunately we came on a day that the workshop was not operating so we missed seeing that in action.
