The jetty itself was alright but had safety issue with one of the access gates being left open. The shipwreck was cool to look at. Wear sunscreen and a hat as there’s no shade. The major let down is all the rubbish laying around - and that extents to Yarrabah as a whole. The local horses walking the streets with no meat on their bones is heartbreaking

You won’t find many tourists here (which is part of the allure). A nice quiet place to take in some of the aboriginal culture. Visited during a week day, it might not have been so peaceful otherwise…
