Yass is one of the most beautiful towns we have been to. We initially were going to stay a few days but stayed a fortnight. The history of the town and surrounds like Wee Jasper is amazing and the people are so friendly and helpful. The buildings and architecture is well worth seeing. I do think that there needs to be more promotion of Banjo Patterson and his connection to the area. Yass is a must visit and is very Highly Recommended

Be careful of the Karen working at the information centre. Had stopped here with our 3 kids after a 4 hour drive for them to let off some steam at the playground and was greeted with a less than friendly lady telling us we had to move our car and caravan. Rather than being helpful and offering more information about where we could park she just yelled and told us to move the car and took a photo of us. Wont be stopping in this town again.

I make a point of stopping at information centres. They're full of valuable information on the areas and they have locally made goods to purchase. These guys were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Had a great selection of local wines, gifts and produce. Plus a cheeky ice cream for the kids. Located right next to an excellent kids playground to while away the time while charging our EV.

One of the nicer information centres we have been to. The ladies were lovely and helpful. Has plenty of information, gifts, local wine and providore. We bought a local wine.

We enjoyed our visit here and were given plenty of ideas of where to spend some time, we even spent some extra days because of the information that was given to us. And we got to learn more about Yass
